Derm Effects offers two different FDA approved Permanent Hair Removal lasers
RADIANCY SKIN STATION - Light & Heat Working in Harmony
LHE targets the melanin in the hair shaft, and then converts light to heat inside the follicle. The heat damages the bulge and the root, inhibiting and often preventing future hair growth.
To bring down the energy levels and increase safety, LHE relies on the synergetic relationship between Light and Heat to create an efficient photo thermal technique. With its unique light and heat combination, LHE maximizes the heat effect on the follicle without damaging the surrounding tissue.
HOYA CONBIO MEDLITE C6® -
1064nm wavelength laser
The MedLite® laser was developed as the original Q-switched Nd:YAG technology in 1992 and has been extensively improved with each generation. The MedLite® IV was cleared for hair removal by the FDA when it launched in 1997. The MedLite® C6 (2002) pioneered a new generation of Q-switched technology. This advanced system uses an electro-optic (EO) Q-switch to produce high-speed pulse widths at peak energy, targeting the hair follicle with a PhotoAcoustic effect. This laser, introduced in 2007, builds on this heritage of success and innovation, featuring PhotoAcoustic Technology Pulse™ (PTP) – a unique dispersion of energy that produces very narrow pulse widths with up to 60 percent more power, even over larger spot sizes.
